    What I loved about it: the challenge, the opportunity to be creative, mentoring a staff and being mentored by experienced leadership, to be a part of life change

    My primary responsibly was to fill 60,000 beds for $10.3 million in conference revenue.

    • Oversaw all elements of filling beds — from cyber to fiber including direct-mail, video, web, graphic design, photography and writing. Responsible for supervising and leading a creative team in the development of integrated marketing communication campaigns. 
    • I've been called a strategic thinker producing and implementing marketing communication plans to increase key organization objectives. Developed profitable partnerships with the ability to define and implement communication plans to increase sales. 
    • I have demonstrated the ability to manage organization and business relationships, establish creative methodologies and defined policies and procedures.
    • For example: changed one policy that in the first year double the amount of people as well as doubling the revenue stream without increasing sales staff or marketing expenses 
    • Created and marketed a midweek experience from scratch
    • Negotiated multiple, six-figure contracts increasing rate (double the consumer price index)
    • Evaluated and change sales operations growing from one $1,500,000 to $3,500,000 without adding new staff
    • Managed, motivated and train the staff between five and 23 year round and 36 seasonal

    Glorieta Conference Center

    Sales, Marketing and Program Developer Sep 1996 – Aug 1997

    Grew sponsored events from zero to 3.
    Began a National Homeschool Family Camp - 1300 attended from 23 states in the first year. Began Glorieta Christian Writers Conference and oversaw the expansion of the Seniors Balloon Festival. In addition lead a team to develop all collateral, media and database tools.

    Doubled owners investment. I operated a small newstalk radio station in Washington DC market for out of state owners who sold the station after three years for twice the purchase price.
